Some people have a tendency to treat Jesus like Santa Clause. Thinking Jesus keeps a naughty and nice list or do good get good and do bad get bad mentality. This is a Season where we celebrate HIS birth and it has nothing to do with what you do or don’t’ do. Imagine the creator of this vast universe; came to be with the very people HE created … to make himself known to all people … “God became flesh.” Why did God do this? All mankind needed HIM and still needs HIM today. We needed faith, hope and love. Only Christianity is based on faith, hope and love. We have Faith to live in a fallen world where things do not often go the way we would like. We have Hope for our life today no matter what may happen and hope for our future. Hope that the life to come is going to be more fulfilling and than anything we experienced on earth. We can Love God who gave the ultimate sacrifice in laying down the life of his human body to save us from the penalty of our sin. Now we are able to love HIM because HE first loved us. Because of this new life, love is indwelled in us that we are also able to love people in a greater manner. So yes HE came so we can have Faith, Hope and Love, regardless what you did or didn’t do …
