By Faith or By Fear

To have Hope is to be ASSURED of the fulfilled promises of God. We receive this Hope by Faith. The very definition of Faith according to the Word of God is to be Assured of the things hoped for. The things Hoped for are the things promised to us by God. We must choose whether to see the world un-assured which fills us with fear or assured by faith in the fulfilled promises of God which fills us with Hope. Fear paralyzes the believer making them unable to move even their own feet but faith can move us to be used for His Kingdom in ways that we never imagined. By Faith Noah built an ark, by faith Abraham offered up Isaac, by faith the people crossed the Red Sea. All these things were “by Faith” because they were assured of the promises of God.
